Before booking in for diagnostics can you supply us with as much information as possible such as:- Does the problem only occur when the car is hot or cold? Are the warning light intermittent? The more information we have, the more promptly and accurately we can diagnose the fault.

Performance tuning
Diagnos has developed tunes for all of the control units listed above. There are however hundreds of variations for each control unit and vehicle. It is necessary therefore, for you to diagnose the vehicle with Autologic and determine whether or not –
• A performance tune exists for the current level of ECU software • Diagnos are required to develop a Performance Tune for this variation
If a tune does not exist, we can send specific data about the control unit to diagnos. New Performance Tunes can be written and uploaded to the dianos.co.uk website usually within 24 hours
For engine control units that are "flash programmable", Autologic offers the advantage of performance tuning (also known as chip tuning). Autologic Performance Tunes are modifications to the manufacturers’ vehicle tune data, designed to improve engine and running performance. These performance tunes are downloaded to the vehicle`s ECM from the Autologic through the on-board diagnostic connector. Performance tuning with Autologic can usually be carried out on a vehicle within one hour while the customer is waiting.
